I'm baaaaack!
The good and the bad....Motorcycle STOLEN!
The good...
The rehearsal, the wedding and the reception went wonderful!!! Everyone was on their best behavior! Here are a few of the 1000 (literally) pics my friend and her sister took. I can't wait to get the ones back from my photographer so I can post those!! Everything was gorgeous! Everyone wanted our martini centerpieces and the runners when it was all over. A little girl took all the flowers that were around the cake (she was too cute!). And everyone took their mason jars home so we didn't have to clean cups up afterwards! I didn't freak out at all..no bridezilla moments for me. The weather was beautiful after it had rained ALL week! I couldn't of asked for a more perfect day! The bad.... Right after our ceremony the table that our vases were on from our sand ceremony tipped over and the vases broke :( Thats ok. I wasn't sure how we'd get them home without getting sand all over the place anyway It was soo nice outside everyone wanted to hang out outside on the deck and didn't know what was going on inside. A lot of them missed our first dance and a lot talked over it so we didn't even get to hear how my dad had added in our vows. But we listened to it later and its beautiful! If I figure out how to put it on here I will! My dad cried all threw me and his song because he was trying to tell me that he had sang a long with the girl in the song and you could just barely hear him. It was so cute. And at the end he said "I love you Princess" :D We had our friends watching our house and they came by Sunday..everything was fine. Came back Monday and our motorcycle was GONE!! Someone stole it sometime Sunday night/Monday morning. No insurance because we were still working on getting his motorcycles license and new plates for it :( We're pretty much screwed. Its scary to think that someone has been watching us that closely to know that we weren't going to be home :( Needless to say since we found out Monday we've been talking about moving! |

Its finally my time!
Saturdays THE day!!!
Well we got the cars all packed up and ready to leave early in the morning! We got lots to do tomorrow. Rehearsal tomorrow night and the wedding saturday! I'm so excited! I'm sure there will be lots of pictures taken for me to share with all of you!
I don't think I'm nervous really. Not even hoping for perfection. Just for things to go smooth and hopefully not get too caught up in everything going on that I don't even remember the day. I have to remember to stop, breath and take it all in. I want to enjoy my day as much as possible. I thought today I was going to lose it (Just for a second tho) people keep asking me all sorts of questions and my phone was blowing up! haha Talk to you guys when I get back!!! XOXO |

3 days...
and nothing to do???
I feel like, from hearing about other peoples experience of wedding planning, with 3 days to go I should be running around like a chicken with my head cut off screaming orders at people. But I'm not. I'm actually very calm. There really is nothing left for me to do right now. I have everything packed and ready for when we leave Thursday for Illinois. And when we get to my parents all we're doing is loading the car and heading to Missouri. Everything is made, labeled and put together. All we need to do is decorate the lodge and get married!!!
Heres my time line for the weekend.... THURSDAY... 1pm Leave for Illinois (parents house) 5pm Stop at my sisters house to drop our dogs off with my cousin 7pm Meet with Pastors FRIDAY.... 10am leave for Missouri 1pm Arrive in Missouri and pick up Johns tux 1:30pm Go to the bakery to drop off ribbon for the cake 2:30pm Nail appt 4pm Check into the motel 5pm start unloading things into the lodge 5:30pm rehearsal starts Not sure how long rehearsing, dinner and decorating is going to take but we have the lodge till 11 so hopefully I'll be asleep by 12. SATURDAY.... 9am arrive at lodge to help 10am Cousin coming to start hair 10:30am girls arrive 11am Makeup lady arrives to start makeup/groom and groomsmen arrive 11:30am Guys start pictures with groom 12pm Girls start pictures with groom 12:30pm I start pictures with wedding party (no groom) 2pm be done with pictures. Have an hour for hair/makeup fixes and to cool off 3pm WEDDING!!!!! Thats it. Phew..thats enough! Wears me out just thinking about how hectic this weekends going to be! lol Its all worth it in the end tho! |

Since we met you have been my best friend and lover. You have always stood beside me when I needed it and even when I didnt deserve it. Youve taught me patience and how to slow down to smell the flowers. Youve taught me how to truly love and care for someone. Weve had hard times and good but thru both we stood strong. And I am so thankful for all of this. I appreciate everything you do and Im not sure what my life would be like without you in it. Toasting flutes!
My mom ordered our toasting flutes for us and they came in last Friday so I got to see them while I was home! I love them!!! She had our names and the date put on the glasses and the cake cutter! I love them!! I love my mom!! <3
I haven't been on here too much lately. With 8 days to go I've been super busy. Plus work has picked up and this coming week I'm the only one working most of the week so I'm going to be super busy! Which means I need to get as much done as I can this weekend! I'm so glad my FH is so willing to help! :D |

Bachelorette party last weekend

my friend finally got the pictures off her camera and uploaded. woo hoo!
we started the night at the hotel doing a Pure Romance Party. It was a lot of fun. A little akward with my mom and aunt there but we got past that lol My mom made the penis shaped cheese ball (it has beef over it to give it the "skin color" lol) and we soaked strawberries in strawberry vodka and then dipped them in chocolate. yumm!! Then we went to dinner and went down town. The first bar we went to this older DRUNK man was like "There you are!! We've been waiting on you!" we didn't know him. lol But he handed out dollars to the guys in the bar to do the suck for a buck so whatever! Except....his wife was there. lol I don't think she appreciated it very much! haha Theres one pic of her flipping off my friend so my friend took a pic of her. lol. The second bar we went to my friend new the owner and him and one of the bartenders bought us shots all night. The pic that says "stuck" was because they accidently pinned the top shirt to my bottom shirt and I couldn't get it off lol And the one that says "trying to throw up on me" that guy was sick and I was pointing at the throw up all over him and he sneezed and my friend and I thought he was going to hurl so we ran! haha it was funny!!! |
