So we're doing a sand ceremony and I want to use this shadow box with a photo in the middle. Does anyone know where I can find this? There needs to be an opening at the top so we can pour the sand in and I'm having no luck finding one.
I just bought a regular one.... and SOME HOW .. .. I am gonna drill a hole in the top and find a cork or hell i donno! iill let yanno waht i figure out once i do it =)
I am now having an outdoor ceremony so we are thinking about switching to a sand ceremony and I also want to do this. My mom actually found this at kohl's for us. It's about 12.00. Here is the link to the one we are thinking about getting.
I bought ours at Michael's in the desk picture frame section. Not where the large pictures are....and it seemed to work well. Make sure you drill a hole big enough so it won't take the sand forever to fill in the frame. We also just made a funnel out of paper and didn't use a cork...just a piece of tape. lol

Thanks Ladies, I'm gonna check out Target next weekend to see if they have the one that felisha45 mentioned, they are out of stock on their website. Fingers are crossed that they will have one in black. I think I will hop over to Kohl's as well. I'll let you all know if I find one and if not I might have to go in the way of drilling a hole.

So I looked everywhere this weekend and nothing. Everyone I asked said they had never seen one that opened from the top. I could not find the one that felisha45 mentioned but I'll keep checking the website as they are out of stock. If anyone else finds one can you please let us all know.
They do not sale frames made for the sand ceremony. You will have to buy a shawdow box frame and drill a hole in it or get someone to put a opening in it. Below is a website with a really simple DIY post for it. I did it and it was really easy.
