What is everyone's bridal march??
I'll be walking down to Yurima's "A river flows in you". I think it's a beautiful piece and i wanted something emotional but somewhat cheerful to make an impact on everyone.
I'm also 99% sure i will have everyone else walking into "I Do" by Thomas Smith..I know that song is probably meant for the bride but it's long enough and still appropriate for the bridal party,
My "After the first kiss" song will be..."We own the night" by Lady Antebellum! :) This is also when we will be flooded by friends and family on stage for everyone to congratulate us.(Russian style)
Fist dance.."Hold on Tight" by Lady A! (Can you tell im obsessed? lol)
This song gets me SOOO emotional and gives me goosebumps every time. I know its the perfect song for me and my FH!
Let me know what you all think! XOXO
I've never heard any of the songs you've posted, but I'm going to look them up!
Bridal Party - Whenever, Wherever, Whatever by Maxwell
Bride - Make Me Whole by Amel Larrieux
Recessional - This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) by Natalie Cole
First Dance - When I Said I Do by Kenny Lattimore (perfect since we are renewing our vows)
To play before the ceremony starts while people are being seated: Love Story- Taylor Swift, Just the Way You Are- Bruno Mars, God Bless the Broken Road- Rascal Flatts, The Way You Make Me Feel- Michael Jackson (I think people will be pleasantly surprised to hear string versions of all these songs!)
While the bridesmaids walk down the aisle: "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton (i think) but using the string version by Vitamin String Quartet
I'll be walking down to "Fools Rush In" by Elvis Presley but again using the Vitamin String Quartet version...my dad has always been a huge fan of Elvis and i am going to surprise him with it :)
MRSHTOBE-i just listened to the kisses and cake song and its beautiful! I think you should consider doing that one instead of the usual Canon in D. My 2nd choise was "Only Hope" instrumental by Mandy Moore..i was just at a friends wedding where the bride walked down to that(didnt even know her personally) and got the chills! You should look into it ;)
I wish i could have a quartet for my wedding but its just not in the budget :/ But i will be having my MOH's brother cut my music to where it needs to be so while walking down the aisle the music isnt too slow or anything since it is in some parts.
Good luck ladies!
ahmazing!!!
