natural centerpeices(long or tall?)
I really like them, even though the're a little rough around the edges. The polished river tocks are just what i wanted, and there only 94 cents a bag! I'm going to pour sand in too, about a quater of the way up to the top of vase. I cant decide weither I like the taller one,with a bigger candle or the longer one with the tea lights. I would like to add some twigs, but that might be a big fire hazard? Which do you ladies prefer?

Over the top bev naps?
These have to be the most un nessesary purchase that Ive made for the wedding. I odred them from a desinger on recylceyourwedding.com You get to chose colour of the napkins, ink color, a design and then have your names and the wedding date printed on them. iT cost about 40 bucks with shipping, so it wasn't too bad. I think they were worth it !

Iv been waiting for these little guys to come in the mail forever!! ther're perfect, and I can't wait to wear them!! They are indeed real little dried star fishes, with pearls on top. Too bad Etsy is expensive, cause i love it!

Any other Canadian brides totally frustrated by the cost of shipping from the US???
I get so excited whenever a bride posts about a discounted decoration supplyer website, but then I get soo frustrated because either the company does not even ship to canada or because cost is just trougth the roof! Why do girls in the states get to have vases in every shape and color and size for about 2.99 a pop, when we have to pay triple the price. Not to mention the lack on selection!! I never find what I want at "Micheal's" Any one else in the same boat or have a solution??!

babies are at LEAST 7 years away from now, but this was too cute not to post. plus almost every one else has one (vertual, not real), so its hard to resist.
Good thing shes gonna have my little nose. Dont get me wrong, i love his, and it gives him such character, but i dont wish it on my daughter. |

Is 400.00 a good price for a 4 peice jazz band?
Im set on a 4 peice jazz band for our recption. Sax, piano, trumpt and vocals will do very nicely i think. A grilfriend's husband is an awsome professonal musican, and has offered "a good price" for 4 hours of music. I havent really done any other looking yet, I just thought Id ask a second opinion on the price. I'd love to have him play at our wedding, but i dont want to pay too much either.!?! what do you ladies think?

BIG Update
SO due to the increase in size from the intail plan, we have decided to book a venue for our reception. It offers both in side and ouside, which I really like. PLUS it an art gallery, so it has huge open spaces, high celings and glass walls that all open up. It only cost us 600.00!! Again, im super excited. I really recomend that anyone else in my area look into booking the Rotary Arts Center atrum and padio, just dont try for the same date as my wedding! lol!

We origanally wanted to have a very small tropical wedding...Well as am a dive instructor, we really wanted to have it under water on scuba, but that idea did not go over so well with the grandparent. lol. So were setteling for a comprimise: a nice summer beach wedding. We're also trying to be very eco friendly...thats why ive picked a gown that i can wear to many formal events, instead of just hanging in my colset forever
