michael buble for sure... FH is a big fan and its always on or music similar.. Were both in our early 20s so people are a bit suprised by our taste in music.
As well as we love indy stuff also to rnb hip hop and even top 40.

Not sure if you’ll like any of my top ten picks (in no particular order). Everything is generally indie/alternative, and some of them I want to use at my wedding. These aren’t necessarily new songs, but if you haven’t listened to any of these bands before, I highly recommend them!

Nice mix you got going on. Mine has some Canadian music that I am sure you have never heard, oh and some British from my days living in London....so my appologies:

1. Cake -"The distance" is always somewhere near the top for me
2. Kazzer - "Pedal to the metal" usually because I am in the car, and I like stuff that gets me going.
3. Ben Harper - Burn One Down
4. The Streets - Fit but you know it
5. Morcheeba - Big Calm

Reno - How's the running going?? The playlists always help!

Very Awesome List you've got there. So yeah, I guess a family dance is right after the bride and groom's first dance when the DJ invites the wedding party and family to come up and dance and the "all guests" dance is the first song open to everyone. I think I've decided though. The family dance song is going to be "What I like about you" by The Romantics and the "all guest" song choice is "Let's Get it Started" by the Black Eyed Peas! I take it you also have a cheesy DJ????? Aren't they all a little?

ummm, I listen to NPR? But when I do put the tunes on lately, it's been the Decemberists (Her Majesty & Crane Wife), Vampire Weekend, and Mother Mother over and over again. Daddy's got a gun is the best song to dance to ever, and it's definitely on the must play list at our wedding. Do are the Decemberists seeing as Crane Wife (part 1 only) is our song. :-)

btw, scotchminx, just read your list and now I'm singing "at the gay bar gay bar gay bar" Rock!

Purplenat....its a catchy little song, innit? Bahahaha It always gets stuck in my head at the most inopportune times....like during a gynecological visit...or while giving a presentation at school. Not good.
