Pictures and Video
Before or After ?????
Hello Ladies, OK here I go again... I really want to save time after the ceremony and have most of the pix of me and the groom taken before the wedding... I have seen it done only with a FEW Photographers, but I love the idea. Do you think that it is bad to do this before the wedding.. I was thinking that this way we would not have to rush and the guest will not be waiting FOREVER for us to come in... We can take the ones with the family and the bridle party after words. This way we can just take our time and just relax... And my makeup will be FRESH and my hair will be Gorgeous, lol...lol..lol.... And we will still have that first look at each other...with just only US... The photographers do it so that you still have your entrance...SO what do you think...
Now Video,Should we Video tape that too when we take the pix of us and later on when we take pix with the family and the wedding party. My thing is why only tape the wedding??????The whole day is and should be a memory right. So lets tape all of it....lol...lol..lol... |

Our Stroy
My side....
Well our story is really a little different in how we even met... It was online, and over business of all things. Bruce was very captured by my line of work and how I do it. I am a personal chef trying to get my business off the ground. But he told me that is was very impressed with the passion that I have and how you could feel it in from just the words on my page. He wanted to help me get it going, because he felt that it was something that was deeply missing in relationships. And from there we were just like the best of friends talking about any and every thing business, religion, world issues, romance, travel, it was really crazy. He was like a drug after a while. Like if i did not talk to him I felt a little empty inside. And what was really funny was I had never laid eyes on him. It was just truly desires from conversation and something that I had not been able to do in a long time, truly laugh and truly appreciate the company of a man, with out all of the other madness. We finally met 3 days after his birthday, and we really have not been apart to much after that. He is my partner in every way,my best friend, he spiritual feeds me, my best and worst business associate but best of all he is my passionate lover. His words are never cold or crude. They lift me and his strength carries my once broken heart to delight never known to my soul...I am very thankful to say that he has chosen me to walk hand and hand with for his time here on earth.
I thank GOD for blessing me again first with my kids and next with him a joy that I could never repay. I am Truly Blessed... |

My Sand Ceremony
what a beautiful idea
Calling all moms and ladies marring in to grooms with kids, this is a wonderful thing to do to add the kids in to the wedding. I have 5 kids...yes 5..lol..lol... and Bruce has one daughter, and we really want them all to feel that we are together in this and that we love them all as they are our own. SO there is a ceremony that adds the whole family, where it makes us all one. It lets them know and feel that there is more than just the union of two hearts. It represents the creation of a new family. If youre wondering how your children can become involved in your wedding, the Unity Sand Ceremony may be just what you need to make them feel a part of the proceedings. With the Unity Sand Ceremony, you will be paying tribute to the role your children play in your lives. Youll be celebrating the past, present, and future through the mix of sand in glass. As a sign of your two families becoming one, youll want vows that will really capture the beauty of the moment.
Besides the bride and groom, various colors of sand are given to wedding members who will add their sand to the couples sand, all flowing into the container, creating a colorful and one-of-a kind symbol of unity, strength and love. With the Unity Sand Ceremony, youll have a role for every member of the family. Children can choose their own sand colors in order to put their unique mark on the ceremony. Theyll also enjoy the interactive nature of the ceremony its a ritual theyll never forget! At the end you will have one container, there is no longer just one heart, mind, body or soul. You are now joined together. And just as the grains of sand can never be separated and poured again into individual containers so will your marriage and family be... This is a beautiful way to bring two families together... Happy Planning Ladies... |

Personalized Wedding Cake Toppers...
Have yours made your own way...
Okay Ladies, Just when I was all stressed out LOOK AT WHAT I found this wed site that hand crafts your personally own designed Bride and Groom on your cake... I really did not want a bride and groom on my cake, but when I seen this I thought of so many ways i could have fun with this... you can make it funny, classy, sexy , glamorous this can be done how ever you like...Jahlill and I are always looking for something that just stands out. Something different, and with this I don't think that you can get any better than this.... Now they are a little on the pricey side,It could take a budget to the far side, but it is all up to you how you would want it... The only thing that I can say it that it is a keepsake, but you do have pictures for that...lol...lol...lol... It was just some info that I wanted to pass on.
Here is the link and some helpful questions... http://www.thumbprintkids.com What does a topper cost? A basic 2 figure cake topper is $2900 plus shipping. Additional figures on a topper are $1450. ea. A single figure sculpture is $1500. Small animals are $600. For larger animals ask for a quote. What kind of pictures do you need? You may send pictures that you already have (and I do want some of those) but I will need photos taken especially for this project. Please look at the Photo Guidelines Page. It shows samples of good and bad pictures as well as tips for better picture taking. The Getting Started form also outlines the required photos. How many toppers do you take a year? I am reducing the number of topper orders I take a year to only 4-6 ,so reserve yours as soon as possible. Are the figures fragile? I wouldn't throw one against the wall but polymer clay is very strong once it is baked. Thin pieces will remain slightly flexible after baking. How long do the figures last? I have figures that I made about 18 years ago and they are still in perfect condition. The display dome will help to keep your sculpture as fresh as the day it graced your cake. What are the figures made of? Polymer Clay. I use Premo and Kato Clay. It cures in the oven at 275 degrees. How long does it take to make a cake topper? I allow myself about 3 weeks for a topper. How much does a topper weigh? A typical 2 figure cake topper will be about one and a half pounds. More for larger or multifigured toppers. What size is the base of the cake topper? Bases vary in size but a typical topper has a base of 6.5" round. The cake's top layer will need to be large enough to accomodate the base. Larger, heavier sculptures may do better on a stand next to the cake. How do you ship? I use Fed Ex next day delivery. Shipping prices have increased significantly so any increase in shipping cost will be added to the final payment. What if something is broken when it arrives? Contact me immediately. If it is simply a piece that gets knocked loose do to rough handling you can usually simply re glue it. If it suffers significant damage you may return it to me for repair. Do you insure the toppers? yes, but FedEx puts a limit on one of a kind items of about $250 reguardless of the declared value. These are just a few questions from the site, that have been asked so this may help you out some.... These are also pictures from some of the work that they have done... it is crazy he even did the jewelry, done the the ear rings.... And OMG...this other on look at the shoes... and the hair... I think that this is soooooo cool... well Happy Planning Ladies... |

Wedding Cake, or Cupcakes and a Candy Station......
No left over cake...
I have been looking and tasting cakes, and they are good.. BUT really how many people really will eat cake or the whole piece. But cupcakes are the prefect size. And this way I can have different kinds, red velvet, chocolate, lemon, vanilla, or any other favor that I may want... We can have the top layer for us...
I am also thinking of just a whole sweet station, with candies and lil tarts and all kinds of divine treats... |

I am stressing out... I am doing this alone... I really don't have help, and it is getting the best of me... I am just ready to go to the hall of records and tell everyone at Christmas Dinner... I want him to be happy and it to be a sexy experience for the both of us, but I am so there... I am more unhappy than happy, I have been married before but I have never been like this before, I want it to be so perfect, and I feel like I need to just change the date month and year...
