Countdown
Only 60 days left!
Holy cow ladies only 60 days left and everything is so fun right now! We sent the invites out about a week ago and we're getting such wonderful compliments about them. I'll post photos tonight. It's so fun to get rsvp's in the mail every day and it really feels like it's just around the corner! Congrats to all you other summer brides, not long now :)

Hair up or down?
I'm so stoked! I found the perfect rehearsal dress. It's by Tracy Reese and it's exactly what i was looking for. I wanted something colourful but not over-the-top, comfortable but not frumpy and modern but not too much and I think this is it. Now I have to decide, hair up or down? What do you think? I think I like it up better but down is fun too...

Honeymoon
It's booked and we're going to GREECE!!!
Hey everyone!
I feel like I haven't been keeping up with WBC at all lately so I'm so excited to post that we've booked our honeymoon...15 days in Greece! I can't believe it's booked! We're going to three islands and Athens and we hand picked the hotels which are amazing! We picked one luxury hotel in Mykonos for a serious treat (although the honeymoon itself is a crazy treat!) and the other places all have special parts to them too. I'm so excited that after all the fun of the wedding we get to go on an amazing trip and reminisce about everything we just went through...all that while eating olives, pita and feta cheese and drinking wine...I CAN'T WAIT! My best friend has been there tons since her family is Greek so she has been guiding us in the right direction plus, she offered to drive us to the airport - so sweet of her!!! Are any of you also going to Greece? Or have you ever been? |

Although I've already purchased my dress I have a hard time not admiring all the gorgeous dresses out there. In particular I've come to love the dresses by Monique Lhuillier http://www.moniquelhuillier.com/ .
They are amazing, unique and gorgeous. I'm happy to say that the designer who is creating my dress has loads of style like Monique Lhuillier and I couldn't be more excited about my choice. I wish I could say more but my FH reads my posts! Needless to say, it's gorgeous and totally me. If I was to buy from a designer though it would be from this talented lady! Any of you out there also admire her dresses? Or even purchase one? |

Only 100 days left!
I can't believe it we're counting down!!! Only 100 days until our wedding day. I also started a brand new job today which was huge so we've got a lot going on...now I have to figure out what's left to do. Congratulations to all you July 11th brides!!! :)

New shoes...maybe?
Would you change your shoes if they were uncomfortable?
Last Friday I was at my first fitting for my new dress (I'll post that story later) and I brought my shoes along for the trial. I love love love my shoes. They are the first thing I bought for the wedding last summer! But they aren't very comfortable on my feet :( I kept thinking that if I wore them around the house I would get used to them but that doesn't seem to be working. So, at the bridal salon I was standing there in my lovely shoes and after about five minutes I was totally uncomfortable :( I guess my Mom and my friend Katie could tell so they suggested I try on some other shoes at the salon. There are some super cute ones there so I tried on a few pairs and they all seemed to work better on my feet than my pair. So, I think I'm going to have to switch them. Although I'm super stubborn about wearing my original shoes, my Mom made a good point. She said, "You don't want to be walking down the aisle thinking to yourself that you just can't wait to get those shoes off!" It's so true, that's exactly what I would be thinking. What do you think of the new choice? The old ones are there too...*sigh* |

Wedding Rings And Jewelry
We picked up our wedding rings!!!
Oh my gosh I'm sooooo happy!!! This has been such a fun day! First my make-up trial and then I picked up our wedding rings and they are PERFECT! We had mine custom made, we designed it ourselves, and the jeweler did such an amazing job. I can't believe we have them! Now I just have to resist trying it on all the time...:) I could've left them at the store but my fiance has a bad cold and I wanted him to see them so I brought them home. I could take them back for safe keeping but I don't think I will :) Fun! It looks so sexy on him. I'm so glad he found one that was perfect for him. It's getting closer!!!

Trial done!
My trial is done and it went really well...I was pretty nervous about it since I hardly ever like the look of a lot make-up on myself or really on others either so I was worried about how it would come out. First of all I super love my make-up artist. She's fun, smart and easy-going which was huge. Then she was awesome at her job and I feel like she'll do a great job on the wedding day with all the girls too. When I got home though my FH thought it looked a bit heavy. I know it's supposed to be heavier than normal for photos but I want to look like myself that day too. What do you guys think? Should it be lighter? The first picture I took outside in natural light, the second was inside.
