Some last minute details
This weekend was a busy one getting all the last minute stuff together. I put together all my bridesmaids' gifts, groomsmen's gifts and flower girl gifts.
I got the girl cosmetic totes and filled them with: - "101 USes for a Bridesmaid Dress" ( this book is funny as EVERYONE always says "Oh, you can wear the dress again" but, no, you REALLY can't ! - Beer bootle opener that's shaped like a stiletto ( as we gals need a pretty opener) - A "Juicy Watermelon" jar candle & 3 votives ( as watermelon is my main color) - Day-of jewelry - A Gift Card to either Dunks or Starbucks The guys all got plaques of their family crest. I also put together the wishing well that will serve as our guest book. The well I got from Joann's and the cards & pens are from Oriental Trading For the candy buffet, should I use the scoops or not? Sure, thy make it look classier, but some of the containers are not very sturdy ( so I worry that they may tip). All the candy is wrapped as I assume that some people ( esp kids) may just use their hands. |

Doggie Photo Shoot
After desperately trying to take a pic of them both next to eachother I just about gave up. I decided to try to take a pic of them each by themselves and splice them together. I know it may not look perfect but I think this is the closest I can get to it w/o totally loosing my mind.
Now to get me some Mod Podge and put it on the box ! |

Wedding Rings And Jewelry
Our bands arrived !
Both of our bands arrived this week ! Yay ! We looked around, found what we wanted then priced everything out. We ended up getting ours on Amazon. Jay's was the EXACT same bad that Zales was selling for over twice as much ! Mine was going ofr 3X the amount at Zales. ( gotta love that brick & morter mark-up!) Bith came with their certificates and also guarentees against anything. The company I got mine from has great customer service & will also replace the diamonds if they fall out ! ( hopefully they won't, but just in case)

Flower Girl Dress Take 2
Since I tend to be a very indecisive person, I decided to look for a new dress for my flower girls. The other one was cute, but was a bit thin, so I would have had to put a panel in so it wouldn't have been so sheer on the front.
After looking high & low for a cute and inexpensive dress that came in both an 18 month & 9 month size, I finally found one ! It was on clearance on JC Penney's web-site. It's by Carter's, so I know that it's a good quality and also know how their sizes run. I originally wanted them to wear a pink colored bow around their waist(s) but with the dress being a cotton eyelet, I think a satin bow would look out of place. |
