Ask a Question
I'm NOT stressed out.. is this normal?

Morning Ladys,

I was just wondering if any of you got stressed/ or when it kicks in? Right now things are in full swing at my camp and I'm serouisly NOT stressed out what so ever..

Is this normal? I actually use the wedding to escape the stress of school and life LOL.

I was in micheals last night and another Bride to Be told me how oraginzed I am.. (which is flattering..)

Anyone out there stressed? Or anyone out there like me?

Happppy plaaaning :)

I'm so not stressed as well...  I'm just worrying about being TOO chilled out!!  Lol!

When we were looking at having our honeymoon in Hawaii and the prices were RIDICULOUSLY expensive, I was stressed to the point where I didn't want to look at it, talk about it or think about it.  That's when I knew I had to look elsewhere!

When I was at a wedding fair last month, a lady who was trying to sell wedding rings to us tried a panic tactic, I think - as she kept saying "Oh you're too calm, you need to get moving!".  But we've done the main things, organised them in the first month or so of our official engagement so we're enjoying working on the details.  Anyway, I know wedding rings don't take months and months so I wasn't falling for it!

Well, you have 15 months left, I was cool all the way up until the new year, lol. I had my knot check list everything was going smooth.  I stayed caught up on my to do list, did not jump ahead, and stayed focused.  Now. . . . . OMG, I am freaking out, days are not long enough, the internet moves too slow, and work and school are getting in my way of planning my wedding, lol!

I have 8 months left, which for me is really 6 months because I want to have everything done 2 months prior to help reduce stress, and I have my comp exams a few weeks before the wedding and graduate 2 weeks before my wedding!  Needless to say I will need those two months for school anyway.

Give it time, the freaking out begins when you get behind your schedule :), and when your friends and family offer more opinions than help!

GOOD LUCK!!!

I agree with "rmmharrison"....You have 15 months left, so your probably are not going to feel the stress right now.  I'm 5 months til, and I'm still melo.  I haven't freaked out ...YET..LOL, but I guess it just depends on how you handle things.  My sister went all the way up to the day before her wedding be for the stress hit her so...who knows! :-)

I am just now starting to freak out a little....it hit me that i am down to about 100 days before the wedding and I have so much to do. But my brides maids are always coming over and calling me keeping my stress level down as much as they can so thank god for them.

RE: your comment
Personally, I think a cupcake is enough as a favor, but if you want mini eggs, I don't think anyone will cry out. Then again, if your budget starts getting tightened, then don't worry about the little mesh bags - your guests will never know.

I have about 7 months to the wedding and I'm not stressed out. I was very stressed at first but once I found a venue I haven't been stressed at all. Everything has been falling nicely into place ever since. I think it helps that I have set myself a schedule to get things done by certain dates so I wont procrastinate.
