I'm Married!!!
2 Weeks Today!
Sorry for taking so long to post something!! The month before my wedding was so busy!! I didn't take any time off work and each day after school (because I teach :D) was jam packed with meetings and picking up last minute things!
These are some of the pictures I got back from my photographer! I love them! I will be posting more soon ... still waiting to get them back! The wedding itself was beautiful! Everything I wished it would be! Matthew and I genuinely had the best day of our lives!! Of course there were a few bumps on the way .... but that day everything seemed to fall into place! (Like it was all meant to be!) My bridesmaids were wonderful and the groomsmen very helpful! The decorations and flowers were stunning! The Pavilion and Church were fabulous! Our DJ was a riot and our in-laws surprised us and our guests with an open bar!!! The night ended around 1230 and Matt and I got back to our Hotel and had a lovely evening together! I am so excited to be married to Matt and I think :D he feels the same!! I hope you all have the day of your dreams because I honestly did! Good luck with all your planning and decisions! My piece of advice is enjoy yourself! (The days leading up to your weddding and the actual day) Sometimes people get carried away with all the things that have to get done the day before or the day of .. the day before and day of should be a time where you take in what is happening and relax .... you are getting married to the love of you life and your wedding day is ahead of you! That actual day ... try to have other people deal with the issues that might arise ... don't let little mishaps get you stressed out ... laugh, smile, cry ... whatever you need to do! Just TAKE IT ALL IN! I believe I did to an extent and when I took the time to look around ... it was magnificant! Again, Good Luck to all of you and I will try to hop on and off every once in a while to see how everything is going! Matthew and I are looking for a house right now and will be going on a smaller version of our honeymoon in July! School is at the end which means a very busy time for me! Hope you like the pictures!!! |

I would love to find one where I could write on the inside (both sides) and the back of the program. Does anyone have something that might help!!!! |

Less than 2 months now!! :S
1. Transportation to be decided on
2. Programs need to be created and printed 3. Seating Chart has to be completed 4. Wedding Itinerary needs to be made 5. Thank you cards for showers and wedding party 6. Put Wedding Announcement in the paper 7. Groomsmen gifts need to be engraved! 8. Appointment with Florist/Decorator- finalize details 9. Appointment with Caterer- finalize details/pay amount left over 10. Send in List of Wants/Don't Wants to DJ 11. Appointment with Photographer- finalize details 12. Appoint people jobs for wedding day :) 13. Make up schedule for M.C 14. Pick up last minute decorations 15. Looking for a clutch :) I am sure there is more ..... I am hoping I can finish most of these things before May! Busy Busy Busy!!! |

Things Done over March Break!
Whew .. Time is Flying and So Much To Do!
1. Hair and Make-up Trial
2. Bought Toasting Flutes 3. Bought Decoration Pieces 4. Seamstress Appointment 5. Bought my wedding shoes! 6. Invitations are put together! Now if only I could figure out how to do these addess labels! UGHHHHHHHHHHHH :S 7. Ring Bearers Present Bought 8. Bridesmaids Flip Flops Bought 9. Groomsmen (2 of 4) were measured! 10. Flower Girl Present- I have one part 11. Readings (3)- Typed out and ready to be sent to the church! Well, here is hoping my To Do list just keeps getting smaller! :D |

Honeymoon
We are thinking Greece!
So, here is the issue ... I love to travel and have always wanted to go to Greece! We would have to spend around 6000 on flight, most meals, accomodations and transportation to and from places. We would be gone for 16 days .... He has suggested waiting to go on the honeymoon to save money and he is also interested in looking for a house ... etc. What to do??? I really want to go but the logical part of me is saying don't use that much money and put it toward a house ... furniture, etc! Help:S

So, I bought 20 blank art canvases and paint!
I am going to use stencils and paint quotes on them! I am going to hang them with ribbon! The canvases are going to be a soft yellow and the lettering will be a chocolate brown! I wanted something different and I hope they turn out well! What do you think?? |
