Bridal Show - I'm missing mine Right Now! - 6YRS2KIDSL8TR's Purple Wedding by Color Blog

I'm so sad!
Our area Bridal Show is right now and I'm missing it :(
My sister was supposed to go with me (she's getting married too), but she's not very "girly" and doesn't want to go so she's been ignoring my calls and texts for the past 2 days.
My FH works midnight shift as a cop, so he's still sleeping and I just layed our 2 sons down for a nap, or else I'd go by myself.
The show is in a town about an hour from where we live and we're going up there in a couple hours for a get together with friends...I'm just so mad that no one would agree to come sit at my house while my son's slept through nap time for me to be able to leave.
I totally would have spent the gas money going up there for the show and rushing back here to pick up my fam then driving back up for our friends party and home again tonight. Ugh, no one cares about wedding stuff the way we do!
Sorry to be a downer today girls, and I know I've posted about people letting me down before but I'm sick of things being pushed off to the side because my wedding is so far away!
The next Bridal show isn't until next year AFTER my wedding and the next closest one would be 3 hours from where I live and I'm not sure that they haven't already had theirs.

That is tragic. People just don't understand what it is like to be a bride...they have no concept and don't care that it is exciting and they should let you have this time to be happy and excited. I am sorry sweetie...rant your little heart out it will make you feel better.

I had the same problems girlie Pack up that stroller, get some snackies, not ideal for children but! I brought my daughter she got to sample cake, and we had a great time, I got what I needed from the shows, I took my camera and my bag to stuff all the fliers in..it stinks to bring the kiddies cuz its overwhelming but its your day, and you don't want to miss a thing:( Good luck my sister was not a good matron of honor nor was my mother or my other sisters, my friends were not interested (bridesmaids)....My Husband did go to one..though the others I ruffed it through...big key is arrive early and since you have kids you can do your running around quick, leave go for lunch come back and be ready for the giveaways.

oh girl if i didnt live in a whole other country than you i would of gone with you, i know the feeling, noone understands how important these things are, i'm sorry you couldnt go

Just treat yourself well with meds orange juice and tons of movies on the couch, whatever you do....DON'T go out trying to do stuff for the wedding...
