Where to get a Professional Photo Album?
hello, does anyone know where I can get one of those hard page photo albums? I would like the pages of the album to be either card stock or thicker and all the online sites like shutterfly and other like it only have regular pages inside. My photographer has them but charges over $1000 for them. Any ideas?

Candy buffet? To have or not to have?
I really like the idea of a candy buffet, but not sure if I should spend the money and time to do it. For those of you who have or plan on doing a candy buffet how much did it cost you?

Also, do you have the candy buffet out the entire night or just for a part of it? Does most of the candy tend to be eaten? I dont want to have 10 pounds of candy left over!

Please let me know your general thoughts on candy buffets.

Little black purse - Favor Sites please
I love these favors and want them for my shower. The cheapest I found them including shipping comes out to be $3.12 for one. Can anyone recommend discount favor sites?

My DIY Towel Cake
When I saw this idea I just knew I had to make one!. This will be a prize at my bridal shower. Here is what I used:

-Pizza pan (bottom of cake for support)
-Towel paper holder (the frame of the cake and is in the middle of the tiers for support)
-2 large towels for the bottom tier
-2medium sized hand towels for the middle tier
-2 face towels for top tier
-ribbon
-various kitchen utensils (whisk, ice cream scoop, tongs...)
-Mug on top of tiers

It all came out to be under $25. I'm going to wrap it in clear cellophane and tie with a ribbon.

Honeymoon
Surprising my FH with a trip!
I couldn't have found a better man to spend the rest of my life with. He is funny, romantic (still celebrate every month anniversary), thoughtful and everything else all in one. My FH has been very involved in our wedding planning and we are having a great time. His 30th birthday is approaching and he doesn't know it yet but Ive booked a 3 night getaway for us to Mexico at a 5 star resort! Sadly only 3 nights as our 3 week vacation days have been booked for our honeymoon. Im going to tell him about it 1-2 weeks before, but I cannot wait!

Bridal shower drink menu
Thought I'd share my bridal shower drink menu. I tried using drinks that have similar ingredients to avoid buying tons of ingredients that won't be consumed. I think I will put these in clear frames and put around the bar. I heart DIY - so much fun!

Wedding Invitation
My Invitations! What do you think?
Hi Ladies, my invites have arrived! Yes there are 7 months until our wedding but I rather have things done early.

I know its hard to read, but the front reads:
"This day I will marry my best friend. The one I live for, laugh with, and love"

The opened invite reads:
"In the celebration of love...
parents invite you to the marriage of their children (US).
They will exchange vows of marriage and celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and happiness.

Followed by ceremony information

So what do you think?

Also I would like to take a survey of what do you think these cost (including inserts, envelops and pockets)?

Ask a Question
Thank you Favor wording
Hi ladies! We will have luggage tags as our wedding favors as FH and I love to travel (we take 3 trips a year). Anyways, I would like to personalize the thank you notes on the favor tags with a play on words about travel and love. Maybe something along the lines of "may love follow you in your travels". Any ideas on wording?

My DIY Hangers
I am slowly discovering some DIY things I can do for my wedding and thought I would share with you my DIY hangers

I used the following instructions: http://shellchris.weebly.com/custom-hangers.html

I used all the materials except i did not need pliers and used a regular hot glue gun instead of craft glue.

I also shaped the letters by hand as i found I would make indents using the pliers.

I bought my supplies as follows:
1) 9 hangers: Dollar Store: 3 hangers for $2
2) Three 12 gauge wire (I found this to be the best as it is easy to shape and stiff enough that it maintains its shape): Micheal's using 50% off coupon (of course) @ $3.49 per roll of wire. I found this in the flower section, they also have different wire in crafts section so check out both. They come in a few colors; black, copper, silver and red. I found the black wire had chips in the paint so not sure if I would choose black as it may chip while you shape your letters

3) 2 packs of Jewelry Stones: Micheal's: on sale so with a 20% coupon was $2.01 for a pack of four

4) Glue, drill, pliers had at home: FREE!

Total with taxes came to around $2.80 per hanger (much better than the $16 they usually go for online). I was able to shape 3 names from each wire roll. I did a test name just to figure out how the wire shapes. I would recommend writing out the name on a page first so you can figure out exactly how large the letters need to be to fit on the hanger. I attached a picture of my mom's hanger and my cousin's hanger. My cousin's name has 9 letters which is way too long so I shortened her's to say 'Mrs. L'. My hanger says 'Bride' and all other bridesmaids hangers have their names.

I will include the hanger as part of bridesmaids gifts

Wedding Decoration
Too much silver?
Our wedding colors are silver and blue. But now I fear there is way too much silver everywhere. The groomsmen will wear silver vests and the bridesmaids will have silver dresses and their flowers will have blue accents. The hall decor will have silver satin chair covers, silver napkins and silver table cloths. The back drop will be sheer white with silver accents. The center pieces will be tall silver candelabras with white flowers with blue accents. The whole room will have blue uplighting all around.

So, is this too much silver? Or will the blue uplighitng compensate? Should I have napkins be blue to add some color?
